There should be a system of moderators for the suggestions database. That way, suggestions and comments could be displayed as soon as they are submitted, rather than having to wait for me to read them.

I have two ideas about how this could work.

1) members could gain 'mana' by submitting suggestions and comments and getting votes for their suggestion. They could then use this 'mana' for doing 'magic stuff' on the website like deleting (or flagging for deletion) comments and suggestions tha ...[click title to read more]...

Hey peoples I just thought I'd make this for anyone who wants to have spam wars (you know like "I push you into lava" and "Well I save myself from the lava and toast you with my laser blaster"). Please use this instead of other peoples suggestions.

the map editor under the thing there should be a link saying custom
screens
if you click on it it will take you
to a list saying all the custom maps and screens
they would be set out like this

name (the name of the map)
by (whoever made the map)
rating (whatever the rating of it)

note:click on steves opinion and comments to read comments click anywhere else to load the screen

i know this sint on mr3 but uhh wutever. anyway ya know how when you make a comment you gotta go back to list and come back again to make another one? plz take that out. I cant make 2 comments in a row without going back, and then to it again. steve, please change it.

If there are 4 new comments on your suggestions and 0 on the suggestions you have commented, it looks like this:

And when you click on "my suggestions", all your suggestions appear. When you click on "4 new comments", all your suggestions with new comments appear. When you click on "suggestions i have commented", all suggestions you have commented appear.

Title says it all.

Maybe you can implement a member's preferences, where they can change the skin of TMB, or even make their own user page! In each suggestion they make, a link would be attached to their name if they have a userpage, sending you to it. I'm not sure what the design of the userpages would be though... This doesn't really belong in suggestions for suggestions database, but it was the closest thing i could find.

Would you like to be able to suggest complete other games?

Morsh has already made a lot of suggestions for "The Adventures of Tiny Jim" and a couple of other people made suggestions for whole other games in the past.

The list of games will probably get very long very quickly if we do this, and MR3 and RE2 maybe lost to sight, but then there are already loads of suggestions for those two games anyway, so maybe it doesn't matter! :)

When I look at the suggestions that people make and yes, most of them are excellent but some suggestions blatantly break the Terms and Conditions by posting copyrighted material like 'Barney', 'Sonic the Hedgehog' and once I saw one for 'Teletubbies'. These people either can't read bold words on a white background or want to knock this brilliant website into the mud. When anything is deleted by a moderator, steve can look at it and decide to take it back or delete it.

(I said AAAAAAA so people who search all games and all subtypes a-z would find this)

Carefree_Butterfly was shocked to find out that I delete any HTML. My thinking is to keep the site nice and tidy, but thinking a bit more, maybe I am being too draconian.

What I really want to avoid is big fonts, big images and such that would ruin the formatting of the site.

So I propose to allow the following tags:
strong (bold)
i (italic)
a href (link)
img (image, so long as the image isn't too big)
span class="art" (cause the text to display in fixed width font)

really,there should be one.at least a small one.

I think that every1 should get a rank based on the number of comments/suggestions they have made. Some ex. Newbie, Compatent, advanced, moderator.

if you want to talk about stuff in comments use discussing MR make suggestions about out-of-game or in-game arguements so you can tell what could happen to make this site better

i thinkthere should be a 'minigames' thing lke howtheres 'spells powerups weapons' i wish steve would do that cos i think MR should have minigames.

A new category: If you want to suggest a new game or something, select "other" in "suggestion for game". If you want to make a suggestion, but doesn't think it fits into any of the suggestion types, select "other" in "suggestion type". If you type in for example "gfskvgjerovgui" in the suggestion for game or suggestion type, it automatically changes to "other".

When making a suggestion, you can choose how it should be rated. Way one is normal way. You can see an example for way two here:

Curser Mage:
HP: 25
Attack: Curses, Poison Knives.
