I have been a member of The Metal Box since the first MR3 demo. The games are great, the stories are great, everything is great. I will be getting a Game-Making system at the end of the school year, (Well, as long as I keep my grades up) and I plan to make an MR fan-game to get to learn how to use it. If it's good enough, I'll send it in. In the wait for the Game-Maker, I thought it would be good to get suggestions and things before I start, that way I could draw out everything and have for the ...[click title to read more]...

Well, I did as I planned, and finished that penguin. (I made the animation that it opens it's mouth and a snowball comes out) I was doing the Black Sorcerer animations, but then I had to stop at the transformed Black Sorcerer. You see, I don't have the paint and shading for that, so if I tried to animate it, it would look pretty wierd. So, I'll have to wait until the animation is made for the real game, unless Steve or Sketch would like to make it sooner and make it in a download or somthing. An ...[click title to read more]...

As a bit more detail for what I plan to do with this game, the plot will be that the Wizards and Warlocks tournament has arrived, and the prize is the Goblet of Aldevar, which heals people instantly. The Black Scorcerer and the rest of the Magical Alliance have entered, as well as Scarlet's Evil Robotic Bearded Baby. (The first boss) However, a mysterious person has sighned up too, who calls himself (or itself) the THING. To win, you must fight 20 levels of enemies, 4 of which are bosses, unlock ...[click title to read more]...

Hello all. I\'m back again, this time telling you that I finished the Acid Blob, Flamer, and (Drum Role Please) Rebel Penguin! Here\'s how it works. The Acid Blob is basically a green blob about the size of a Fang Bunny. It shoots 5 particles of acid at a time, and it does 2 damage for each acid piece that hits. The Flamer looks similar to the one in MR Ziggle, but not quite. The Rebel Death Penguin is Gray with a red stomach and eyes. It spits out flaming snowballs. (Hey, who says a game can\'t ...[click title to read more]...

I am pleased to see I have a good number of suggestions in 1 week already. Anyway, I have completed the Missile Goblin and Whip Master Goblin animations, as well as the Black Sorcerer walking and morphing. I plan to complete the Black Sorcerer's animations first, (spell charging normal, spell charging transformed, and walking transformed) then move onto some of cjfjcjfjc's enemies. (Did I get that name right?) I plan to complete at least the penguin.

I didn't really have a chance to do the things I was planning, due to History Reports and Science Fair Projects. I worked a bit on the animations, but nothing I could truthfully call "die-hard" work. Hopefully, this week will be a bit more productive. Anyway, I plan to do the things I planned last week, nothing more because I don't want to get myself into a situation that I'm always behind in. After school, I could probably manage 10 sprites at the minimum in a week in summer. Till then, my pace ...[click title to read more]...

Hello all. Sorry there wasn't an update last week, I didn't know Steve changed the date to Thursday. In fact, I don't know why I call this the Saturday Update, anyway, I don't always right it on Saturday. Anywho, I did get to work on the Acid Glob animation (Which is almost done) as well as write out some more of the script. I can't wait until the game-making system so I can finally get Merlin out on the field. This week, I plan to keep working on sprites. (Can't do much else.) Some friends and ...[click title to read more]...

Saturday Update #7 (8)
In Merlin\'s Revenge Blast Brothers, I have been working on the different sprites, generally for when they pick up items like a Golden Sword and Machine Gun. Some of them (like the skeleton archer) are easy, because it only required me to color in the sword to make it look golden. Others aren’t so easy. Anyway, after I complete the swords, I will move onto the machine gun. Then, it\'ll be time for the Golden Mallet! I also completed Wizard Picker, and sen ...[click title to read more]...

Hello all. I don't have much to tell you about, but I have been working on different sprites for other characters holding items. (Ex- Goblin with Golden Machine Gun) I have made a new sprite called Goldde Wulord (suggested in MR4) and I plan to put him in the game as well. I've just about fininshed the script. These updates might seem to be getting increasingly boring, but that will change...
Saturday Update #8 (4)
For now, that's all.
(I hope there will be more regular suggestions rather than updates...)
