i've noticed while playing the mr4 demo that the addition of the skeleton archer makes the head thrower somewhat useless as the archer is better on allmost all fronts in comparison to the headthrower. Therefore, as they basically serve the same purpose for the skeleton army, it would be better for balance if they were more specialised, like maybe the head thrower is a heavyweight ranged attacker(higher than current range, better armour, remains slow...), and the archer is a lighterweight for cl ...[click title to read more]...
steve. have you put anyones sugestions into a game
in a comment you gave me once you said that if someone would animate it it would have a fair chance of getting in the game. how do i do that and how do i send it to you.(im sure other people are thinkinng the same thing which is why i didn't use the contact thing)
It feels like the energy mines are looking for too much stuff/collisions.(Since they slow down the gameeven if the screen is clear) I think I'm going to spend some time looking to speed them up a bit.
Well nice games but for MR4 could add more none magical weapons and a variety of enemy that would make the game more interesting oh and hey can u tell about what time MR4 well be done.
I think that the shooting stars spell or what ever its called is bad. Its very unfair and makes the game way too esey. You should get rid of it or change it so its not that powerful i beat the game in no time at all with that spell. Also the bome spell is realy unmagical for a wizard to know and it's un fair too that spell killed anything so fast. I would make a limit to the amount of bomes on the fild. That is mostly it, I hope I didn't nag that much.

you know how you for the first three squares of the game have to beat up enemys skeleton enemys well I can't seem to be able to play the last two squares of the game because they show up green is this some sort of bug
The arrows in the game are hard to dodge so I was wondering if the blast thing could blow up the arrows so I don't have to keep moving all the time
My feedback is that this series has been great and I know that Merlins revenge #4 is going to be the best of them all. I know it I just know it. Bye!! You are the best at making computer game series like this one.

When there is a member of the black sorceror team on the screen, all teams should ally against the aldevarians(except for things like pit monsters.
In the demo, if you charge up energy blast C too much, then you can just walk into the next screen and destroy every enemy in one hit. That is way, way too cheap. So, maybe when you walk into the next room, the spell should be reset.
I've just uploaded the latest Merlin Open.
This time, I've made it so that you can make your own cut scenes.
You can edit a script for a cut scene in notepad. Various commands are available which I'll cover in later posts. However, you should be able to pick up the basics pretty quickly just by looking at some of the included cut scenes.

I don't really like the grave of the needle plant.I think the needle plants are awesome but their grave can get a little annoying.Their grave is an orange seed right?Well i got confused and thought it was still alive so i kept blasting and i thought it would never die.Truth is that it was dead already.We must make a more visible grave.Like to know it's dead for sure like the goblin's grave it's a grave,it looks nothing like a goblin.
Well I love needle plants. Great sprite, really cool but honestly they are way too easy.
They have so little health and die in just one charged blast. Now I don't think you have to increase the health, I think you should make it harder by making a spawn or something. Maybe when he shoots thorns out of his mouth, he lets out a few seeds to make other needle plants. Well when Merlin levels up alot, it grows right?
It can get a little annoying sometimes that Merlin grows really big. He looks very weird. I am more used to old little Merlin. Like the size of a goblin, not the size of the golem. So I was thinking that he shouldn't grow.
So you know when you sometimes go up to something or someone, it triggers a dialogue right? Well when you move or click something, the dialogue ends. Now this is kind of annoying for me. As sometimes the dialogue might be important. Like remember in the beginning of MR3, there was that king stuck in that little chamber? If you complete the whole dialogue, you get a really cool song.
Now I haven't really found a solution to this so that is why I need your guys' help.
I know that you cannot control the speed of the dialogue in MR. That is sometimes annoying. I want it so it can be controlled. Now, here is what I propose of what we should do. It should be controlled by clicking. If you click anywhere on the screen, it goes to the next sentence in the dialogue.
Now that everyone has played with the newest mrOpen for a bit, how does the wizard displayer/"bar" look? Should I change it at all?
