The Final Attack of Werlin ver3

PLOT/SCRIPT FOR:

Merlin's Revenge: The Final Attack Of Werlin

Alright, this game is really quite different from any other Merlin ideas as far as i know so bear with me as it will be quite off the wall. However; some of the monsters , spells, auras, weapons, etc. might not be my own ideas; but i'll try not to copy too much stuff. If I do, just post that "hey i came up with s0-and-s0 and that way everyone who sees this post will know your idea was used in this. K... let's begin.

Merlin wakes up one day, but feels... different somehow, almost as though something isn't right with the world about him. Inside his house, everything seems quite normal, but when he walks outside, his house disappears and he finds himself in an abandoned mine. He hears a voice echo through the mine "Do you like it, Merlin? This is me , Werlin, just wanting to let you know i've created a miniature universe using the Orb of Universe-Holding, and the latest edition of 'Universe Creation for Dummies', and put you in it!!!"

To which Merlin says "OH MY GOSH YOU PUT ME IN THE BOOK OF 'UNIVERSE CREATION FOR DUMMIES??? NNNNOOOOOOO"

Werlin:"What , no, you freaking idiot, i put you in the miniature universe. You'll find that life isn't so easy for you here as they were in the real universe! No potions, no medikits, no extra spells, NO MERCY!!!... what? my delivery of potions, spells, medikits, and mercy? No, I said I didnt want any of that... Fine, just set it on the table and get out... Lousy rotten... Nooo! On the table, not into the Orb Feeding Tube!!! Drat! Merlin, youre lucky that stupid delivery boy tripped, but still, theres no way you'll make it out of here alive! In fact you won't make it out of here at all! Muahahaha... yes well, that is all. Goodbye." . Merlin sits down on a minecart to think about the situation when the minecart slowly starts to roll down the track, and Merlin falls in backwards. At the bottom he crashes into a big pile of coal. After he pulls himself out he says "uh-oh" and the camera slowly zooms out to show he's in a goblin coal mining camp. Realizing he'd better get a spell before he tries to do anything, he luckily finds that one had been in the minecart all along. He rubs some coal dust off of it , and sees that its an energy blast spell. He tries to cast it on a goblin who's walking by to make sure it works and everything, and sees that its a strange green color. When it hits the goblin, the goblin screams and tries to run but can only move VERY slowly. When he screams it alerts some of the other goblins nearby, and so the game begins. Merlin sees an energy blast on the other side of the square (the square hes currently on, you know, like one square on the minimap, i dont mean just like one tile) so he runs over there and grabs it as the goblin dudes start rushing in from all sides. And so it begins. The goblin engineers quickly set down huts and other goblin spawning houses. Here're some stats and stuff for this battle: Note that weight means how easily they get knocked around by energy blast. Note: I didnt list the regular potions in the potions section, but they're also in the game

ENEMIES

Goblin Miner:
Speed:Slightly Faster Than Skeleton Warrior
Attack:Pickaxe, Melee, Equal to Skeleton Sword
Attack Rate: Once every two seconds it can attack.
Appearance: Goblin, except with a pickaxe and bag of coal on his back
Weight: Medium/Heavy
Health: Equal to Skeleton Warrior
Special Abilities:Will occasionally throw coal at you from coal-sack on his back.

Goblin Archer:
Same in every way as the Goblin Archer from MR2

Goblin Guard:
Speed: Slightly Faster than Goblin Archer
Attack:Sword or Axe, Melee, Sword is equal to Skeleton Sword, and Axe is slightly stronger but slower attack
Attack Rate:For Sword-Once every two seconds, For Axe - Once Every Two and A Half Seconds
Appearance:Goblin Archer except with Chainmail and a different weapon
Weight:Heavy
Health:1 + 1/4 skeleton warriors health
Special Abilities: Can heal other guards occasionally

Goblin Engineer:
Speed:Same as Goblin Archer
Attack: Has a wrench but he very rarely uses it plus hes weak so its melee damage of 1/2 skeleten sword
Attack Rate: Each one can only build three structures
Appearance: Wears a little helmet and carries a wrench
Weight:Special: Normally is light, but while building it cannot be knocked around
Health: 1 - 1/4 Skeleton Warriors Health
Special Abilities: Can build Goblin Town Halls, Goblin Guard Station, Goblin University, Goblin Archery School, Goblin Mage Tower and Goblin Coal Storage Facilities and can repair buildings too.

Goblin Citizen (Male):
Speed:Same as Goblin Archer
Attack:Fists, melee,which equals half damage of a goblin arrow
Attack Rate: Once a second
Appearance:Wears a brown cloth shirt thing, and the female wears a brown dress
Weight: Medium/Light
Health: 1 - 1/4 Goblin Archer
Special Abilities: When running away, he can run extra fast, and he does usually flee a lot.

Goblin Citizen (Female):
Same as Goblin Male but appearance is different of course.
Goblin Mage:
Speed: Same as those dark sorcerers from MR2
Attack:Energy Blast 'cept its weaker than Merlins, magic
Attack Rate:Same as dark sorcerer from MR2
Appearance: Goblin 'cept in black robes with his little goblin face sticking out, lol
Weight: Heavy
Health: Same as Dark Sorcerers from MR2
Special Abilities: He can summon Goblin Archers

STRUCTURES

Goblin Town Hall:
Strength: Same as Rox Monsters Cave
Weight: Full (Means it cannot be knocked around at all)
What's it do: It can spawn every goblin creature
Other Stuff: Takes 2 of the 3 buildings an engineer can build, takes 4 seconds to build
Appearance: This ones gonna be hard to describe... Its shaped like an upside down L. It has a straw/hay roof, and like little poles holding up the awning along the inside corners. There are little like windows and stuff along the building too.

Goblin Guard Station:
Strength: 1 + 1/2 Goblin Hut from MR2
Weight: Medium
What's it do: It can spawn Goblin Guards
Other Stuff: takes 2 seconds to build
Appearance:It looks like a Goblin Hut but with a big Police sign on top.

Goblin University:
Strength: Goblin Hut from MR2
Weight: Full
What's it do: Spawns Goblin Engineers
Other Stuff: takes 2 seconds to build
Appearance: It's about twice as long as the Goblin Hut with a big dome on the roof in the middle, and its got a bunch of steps leading up to the door.

Goblin Archery School:
It's just the goblin hut from MR2 in every single way

Goblin Mage Tower:
Strength: Rox Cave from MR2
Weight: Heavy
What's it do: Spawns Goblin Mages
Other Stuff: takes 2 seconds to build
Appearance:It's this big tall silvery tower. That's about it.

Goblin Coal Storage Facilities:
Strength: 2 times the Goblin Hut from MR2
Weight:Heavy
Whats it do: Spawns Goblin Miners
Other Stuff: takes 2 seconds to build
Appearance: It looks like... A Goblin Hut with a big storage bin on the side (like the grainholders at barns) filled with coal

SPELLS

Energy Blast:
You know how it works.

Gravi-Blast:
Area of effect and splash damage work like Energy Blast, but instead of damaging an enemy, it increases their weight; making them move slower but also making them harder to 'herd' with the energy blast spell. An enemy can only be affected by this once. It does very little actual damage though.

Coal Dust Cloud:
This spell is one that the Goblin Mages have, and Merlin can find it in the Mines too. When he casts it the area of effect will cause a black dust cloud that will make the enemies cough and be blind while its there, so they cant do anything unless they leave the cloud or if the cloud goes away. The cloud goes away after like... 3 seconds or so, but in the center (most concentrated part) its a little longer-lasting.

Morph:
In this area, you will find the morph spell, but it starts off coming with no monsters being available to morph into except the Goblin Archer.

Monster Summon:
In this area, you will find the monster summon spell, but it starts off coming with no monsters being available to summon except the Goblin Archer.

POTIONS

Morph Upgrades -
You can find the morph upgrades for; Goblin Miner and Goblin Guard

Summon Upgrades -
You can find the summon upgrades for; Goblin Miner and Goblin Guard

Of course, there may be some regular potions in there too.

AURAS

Aura of Peace - All enemies who come into the range of this aura will plop down for a while and not attack or move at all. For a better description see my "Ghandi" suggestion in the auras section.

VEHICLES

MineCart-Goblin Miners will ride into the square youre currently in, if there are tracks touching the border of the square, then a minecar can come through and drop off Goblin Miners. The way to stop these minecart reinforcements is to blast the tracks a few times, and that'll stop more minecars from coming in cos the tracks will snap. Also you can shoot the minecar and it will flip off the tracks and crash. If it lands on anyone it will kill them, so be careful, and if it has monsters in it when you shoot it they'll die too.

K... Some other stuff about this area (about four x two squares, merlin starts off in southernmost westernmost square), is that if there is a Goblin Town Hall and engineers, the engineers will consider the town hall top priority in both repairs and construction. Note that if there is not already a town hall in a square, then the engineers will not make it top priority to build one, they will randomly build a building, and repair whatever building is closest to them. Also, when you get to the top, Merlin will find a tube he can jump into. You dont have to jump in until youre ready; in case youre not done exploring the Goblin Mines.

FINAL BOSS FIGHT

As you approach the tube a GIANT GOBLIN KING plops in front of you and you have to fight him.
GIANT GOBLIN KING!!!
Speed: Like the axething from the Black Orc Fortress in MR2
Attack:Big Staff, Melee, does damage equal to axe from monster in black orc fortress in MR2, and can bounce like the sumo wrestler to crack the ground
Attack Rate:On the staff attack, fast. On the bounce attack, not as fast.
Appearance:has a giant brown helmet, and a small brown tunic from which his belly sticks out. He's Huge like as big as the baby from MR1.
Weight:Full
Health:1 + 1/2 the axething from Black Orc Fortress
Special Abilities:Can call in any kind of goblin from the side of the screen


ALRIGHT HERE IS PART TWO!!!!
Merlin dives into the tube, energy blasting behind him , making the tube collapse after him so he can't be followed. He plops out of the tube onto a mountain after a little while. Looking down the mountain (hes about 3/4's of the way up) he sees a village down at the bottom, and decides he might want to head down there. Of course, its never that easy, is it? The answer is no, you freaking idiot. hehe. Anyway, here's the info on this area, the mountain. It's probably... 1 x 8 squares, straight down. possibly it curves a little bit... like an S-shaped path might be cool, and maybe its got a couple of off-paths. Also youre not completely at the top, you can choose to go up if you wish but its not essential to continue the plot but there is a secret up there. Here are the enemies, spells, and all that stuff for this area.

ENEMIES

Icecube:
Speed:Medium, he can slide across ice and snow
Attack:Touches Merlin to freeze him
Attack Rate:Constant
Appearance:He's an icecube with a little puddle of water beneath him
Weight:Heavy he can barely be pushed back by energy blasts
Health:Lots, like three skeleton warriors
Special Abilities:The more you shoot him the more ice breaks off him, which is how he weakens, when no more ice is left, he's dead.

Snowman (archer or warrior):
Speed:Slow, he sorta slips across the grouns, like goblin archer 1/2 speed
Attack:Hits with twig-arms, Melee, weak, or throws snowballs, ranged, weak
Attack Rate:Every ... umm... 1.5 seconds for the melee, every 2 seconds for snowballs
Appearance:He's a snowman. except his eyes are wicked, and his mouth is wicked. he's just overall more wicked than any snowman should be.
Weight:Heavy
Health:Three skeleton warriors
Special Abilities:umm... when he gets weaker, the bottom part of him gets knocked off and he drags himself around on his arms, like the cyborg commando from Tiberian sun, then when he gets even weaker his middle falls off and he rolls around trying to hit you. that attack does same damage as the twig attack.

Snowfiend:
Speed:Fast!!! Like the bugs from MR2!
Attack:Little teeth come out of the snow and bite you, Melee, weak
Attack Rate:Fast, once every... 0.5 seconds
Appearance:You just see a lump of snow thats moving around quickly.
Weight:Heavy, the snow makes it hard to move it.
Health:Two Skeleton Warriors, cos its got snow protection; its actually a small carnivore under some snow reaching up to grab you.
Special Abilities:The weaker it gets, the less snow there is covering it, and in the end, its just a small rat that can be easily killed.

Frost Hand:
Speed:Medium
Attack:Grabs Merlin and chokes him, Melee
Attack Rate:Slow, every 4 seconds it tries
Appearance:Its a floating blueish white hand that tries to choke Merlin
Weight:Average, Medium
Health:1 + 1/2 Skeleton Warrior
Special Abilities:It chokes Merlin. That's about it.

Ice Spirit:
Speed:Same as Ghost from MR2
Attack:Can summon snowmen and snowfiends. shoots

IceRay , Magic, Freezing, Weak
Attack Rate:Same as Ghost from MR2, on IceRay - once every 4.5 seconds
Appearance:Same as Ghost from MR2 , 'cept light blue color
Weight:Same as Ghost from MR2
Health:same as Ghost from MR2
Special Abilities:IceRay, Monster Summon

Blizzard Chains:
Speed:Slow
Attack:ChainSling, Ranged, Chainspin, Melee, both are between medium and strong
Attack Rate:once every 2.5 seconds
Appearance:its a large ghost with chains dragging from it, and it uses these chains as its weapons.
Weight:Heavy
Health:4 Skeleton Warriors
Special Abilities:It can spin chains in a tornado like thing, which will suck in all monsters slowly. The weaker it gets, the more chains it drops to the ground, making this attack weaker.

The StormCloud:
Speed: Medium
Attack:Lightning Storm Magic
Attack Rate:Every 2.0 Seconds
Appearance:Its a grey cloud that when it gets over Merlin will start raining down lightning: During the lightning storm everything hit will be damaged, good or evil, and the cloud cant move during the storm. Also, once the storm starts it lasts 3 seconds.
Weight:Full, Merlin can't make it move
Health:Like the three-headed dinosaur from MR2, that strong
Special Abilities:Lightning Storm. See Appearance.

STRUCTURES

Snow Fort:
Strength:2 x A Goblin Hut
Weight:Heavy
Whats it do:Spawns Snowmen
Other Stuff:The weaker it gets the more snow falls off, until nothing is left.
Appearance: It's like a cave of snow. But it's smaller than a Rox Cave.

SPELLS
IceRay:
This spell allows you to shoot a ray of ice that will freeze everything in its path. It shoots in a straight line up to halfway across the screen. The downside is that it's an 8-second charge up, because it freezes the monsters for a fairly long time. Of course, this spell is useless in this section of the level because the icemonsters are immune to being frozen. Use it later though.
Feather: This spell makes Merlin more lightweight so he can push himself around with the energy blast. Later he'll get Boulder, which makes him heavier so he can't be knocked back as easily by other wizards energy blasts.

POTIONS
Frost Element Potion: This will add frost power to your energy blast. See... I think it was kittylord, forgive me if im wrong, who came up with 'elemental potions'... that combined with my 'enabling-disabling potions' will give you an idea of how this is used.

Morph Potion: Upgrade Snowman Archer, Snowman Warrior

Summon Potion: Upgrade Snowman Archer

AURAS

Aura of Frost: Enemies who come into contact with you while this aura is charged will be frozen temporarily.

VEHICLES

Sled, Skis, or Snowboard: Snowmen Warriors use this to get around quickly. Merlin can also hop on them . Whenever someone is on them, their speed is faster, but it cant be taken between screens. On Sled, speed is 1.5x faster, on skis its 2.0x faster, and on snowboard its 2.5x faster

Of course, when he gets to the bottom, there will be a boss. And heres how it goes. Merlin approaches the bottom of the mountain, but about 50 feet above the town it just cuts to a ledge, sheer straight drop down. Merlin looks left and right and all around for a way down, but there isnt one. Finally he stops to rest, leaning on a dead tree (its conveniently snowman twig-arm-shaped, heh heh heh). The tree starts to shake, then starts beating the bloody poop out of Merlin (please note: I dont mean that literally, i do NOT want to see an animation of that actually happening). And so, the boss fight begins.

THE FREAKING HUGE SNOWMANS ARM
Speed: Pretty Quick...
Attack:Beats you over and over again with itself (its an arm), melee, really high damage
Attack Rate:quick
Appearance:its a big brown twig
Weight:very heavy, merlin can barely push it
Health:A lot... maybe one and a half of those threeheaded dinos from MR2
Special Abilities:it can summon snowmen to come out of the ground (much like zombies :D)

EXTRA NOTE!!!: If you choose to go to the top of the mountain, that is where you will find the Max Health Permanent Upgrade, and you will also see Werlin looking at you through the glass orb (remember he's watching you, youre in the orb and trying to get out, so you can see the outside world if youre up really high close to the edge of the glass)

ALRIGHT HERE IS PART THREE!!! After Merlin fights his way down the mountain, he comes to a ledge, as we know from the ending of part 2. after the boss fight, he is just about to deal the finishing blow to the tree (he finds plant-killer buried in the snow and is prepared to throw it on the tree) when the tree retaliates one last time and knocks him over the edge! He freefalls for 40 feet then realizes "hey these robes would make a pretty good parachute"... so then for the first time, the world sees Merlin in his heart-boxers (lol!) as he holds the robes above his head to slow his fall. Of course, it's too late so he crashes through the roof of this building in his boxers. This greatly offends the people who inhabit the town, and they all start to attack him! He has to grab his robes first off (they're one square south, the only way you can go cos its out the door of the building), without his robes all attacks on him will do 1.5x normal damage. If the player thinks it'd be funny not to grab the robes, they wont' be able to leave town, like a message will say "You can't leave town without your robes!" or something like that. Anyway, the town is like... 3x4 squares big or so, I'd say. Oh, did I mention its a town full of warriors? Yeah, you might need to know that :P. Heres the info on the town and stuff:

ENEMIES

Barbarian:
Speed:Fast
Attack:They have a mace in each hand and take turns hitting with each, melee, medium damage
Attack Rate:Once every 0.5 seconds
Appearance:They wear no shirt and are bulging with muscles, they have a brown leather errr... loincloth thing, and facepaint. They are about Merlins size.
Weight: Heavy
Health: Twice a Skeleton Warrior
Special Abilities: Berzerk; when used they turn reddish, run faster, attack harder, and attack faster, but have lower defense, and take more damage because of it.

Wizard:
Speed:Same as Dark Sorcerers from MR2
Attack:Energy Blast, Magic, but weaker than Merlins
Attack Rate:Fairly Fast
Appearance:They wear dark, dark brown robes and when they cast energy blast, instead of putting their hands over their heads, they put their hands in front of them like theyre pushing the blast away from them
Weight:medium
Health:Same as MR2 Dark Sorcerer
Special Abilities: None except of course, their energy blast. but that's like duh.

Fighter:
Speed:Slightly Fast
Attack:Sword , Melee, they combo a three-swipe attack of up-down-up slashes, with increasing damage each slash
Attack Rate:Once every 1-second
Appearance:Wears Chainmail and has a kiteshield, and a bigsword too of course. yellow with green cross is the shield design
Weight:Light
Health:Skeleton Warrior
Special Abilities:Three-swipe combo

Rogue/Ninja:
Speed:Fast
Attack:Dagger, Melee, Weak
Attack Rate:Once per 0.5 seconds
Appearance:Wears black cloth ninjalike suit and has a dagger, its not really ninja like, just thieflike or something
Weight:Light
Health:1.5x Goblin Archer
Special Abilities:Can turn invisible for 3 seconds, leaving only a "Predator"-distortion over where he moves. Can do this every 8 seconds.

Cleric:
Speed:Medium
Attack:None
Attack Rate:N/A But can heal ally 20% every 5 seconds
Appearance:Wears White outfit and carries around medikit, when you kill them theres a 30% chance that they'll drop a medikit
Weight: Medium
Health: 1.5x Goblin Archer
Special Abilities: Can Heal Allies

Archer:
Much like a goblin archer from MR2, except with 2x the health, 1.5x the attack damage, 1.5x the speed, and 0.5x the reload time. Also its human of course lol

Summoner:
Speed:Medium
Attack:Whacks with summoning staff, melee, or summons monster, magic, but no damage
Attack Rate:Summons once every 5 seconds, whacks with staff once per 1sec
Appearance:Wears a Native American-like featherhat thing and carries a summoning staff
Weight:Heavy
Health:3x Skeleton Warrior
Special Abilities:Has "Summon Monster" spell and can summon Wolf, Goblin, Skeleton, and Black Orc

STRUCTURES

Tavern:
Strength:Medium
Weight:Full
What's it Do:This is where all those characters in section 3 come from.
Other Stuff: When destroyed it explodes in a big splash of beer.
Appearance: It says tavern in big letters and has some beer puddles around it.

SPELLS

Army Summon Spell: We all know what this does and if not then check the spells section of the suggestions database.

Wizard Bane:Wherever this spell is cast, wizards will be automatically forced to walk away from that spot (including Merlin), but withing about 3 seconds this fades away into nothing. This is useful later on when youre trying to keep them on the other side of a wizard charger, which will be scattered throughout the rest of the game, except in boss squares of course.

POTIONS

Fire Elemental Potion: Adds Fire damage to your spell. Can only have one elemental potion type active at once.

Lightning Elemetnal Potion: Adds Lightning damage to your spell. can only have one elemental potion type active at once

AURAS

Aura of Conversion: This aura will convert the first two enemies who come into contact with it. You cannot convert more than two enemies, and you cannot unconvert the enemies until the aura fades or until they die, but in either case they're no longer on your side anymore.

VEHICLES

This section has no vehicles.

BOSSFIGHT!!!!
THE MAYOR!!! No, hes not getting his revenge on the powerpuff girls, this is a DIFFERENT mayor, he's mayor of the town of warriors Merlin crashed into. When youre about to leave he jumps in front of you and knocks you back a few steps. Merlins not gonna take that. The mayor gets out his giant flail and starts swinging it and says "youre not getting outta here alive!" so of course, Merlin has to prove him wrong, that he is , in fact, getting out of there alive, lol. Heres the stats.

MAYOR
Speed:Very Fast!
Attack:Big Flail He swings at Merlin, i dunno does that count as ranged or melee, either way, its VERY STRONG
Attack Rate: Constant it just keeps spinning but he only aims it for you like every 3 seconds
Appearance: He's Merlins size, with a little sash thing that says "MAYOR" and a white long sleeved shirt with a brown vest on over it, and brown pants
Weight:Very Heavy
Health:High, 2-3x the threeheaded dino from MR2
Special Abilities:Giant Flail thing... its like a spiked ball on a chain on a stick for those of you who dont know... and he can also do a spike shot where he stands still for a second and then spikes fly across the screen. At first its just like 6 spikes, but the weaker the Mayor gets, the more spikes he shoots, meaning less room Merlin has to dodge them. The spikes just go out in a straight line. He does that attack about once every... i dunno.6 seconds or so?

ALRIGHT, NOW FOR SECTION 4!!!
After Merlin escapes the town, through the east exit because there are big walls all around it every other direction. After fighting and defeating the Mayor, Merlin turns the crank thingy to open the gate, and as he prepares to walk outside the town, he sees something that makes him say "Oh Crap". Outside the field he sees legions, I mean, giant amounts of Black Orcs rushing towards the town. "It would seem I am going to get wasted. Bummer." Merlin remarked as he carefully prepared an energy blast and knocked aside an orc general (they wear a black napoleon type hat and have a big sword), and as all the orcs turn to look at him, he realizes that maybe shooting their general wasn't such a great idea.

ENEMIES

Note these orc enemies can easily be made into dorc enemies for conversion into Lord of the Scepter; to make them dorcs, simply ... i dont know, dorkify them, i wont say any details cos i dont want to offend anyone

Black Orc Fighter:
Speed:Very Fast, they run really quick with their swords dragging behind them
Attack:Swords, they swipe up really hard and jump with the force of it, melee, medium-strong
Attack Rate:Once per 0.5 seconds

Appearance:Like the Orc Crossbow Guy, 'cept with a big sword in his/her hand (i cant tell gender difference in orcs)
Weight:Same as Orc Crossbow Guy
Health:1.5x Orc Crossbow Guy
Special Abilities:Errr... None.

Black Orc General:
Speed:Fast
Attack:He has a slightly curved sword more like a ... err, falchion i think its called, that he waves over his head as he runs. falchion, melee, average
Attack Rate:0.5 times a second
Appearance:He wears a napoleon bonaparte-like hat on his head, and he has little medals on his orc armor, otherwise hes like the black orc crossbow guy 'cept with a falchion and small shield
Weight:Heavy
Health:3x Black Orc Crossbow Guy
Special Abilities:Can call more orcs from the sides of the screen

Black Orc Archer:
Speed:2x Goblin Archer

Black Orc Crossbow-Guy:
He's the same as that black orc crossbow guy from MR2 in everyway.
War Dog Rider:
Speed: 4x Goblin Archer
Attack: Carries a sickle , melee, medium, and rides on a brown dog that can trample you, melee, knockback, medium
Attack Rate: On sickle, 1.0persecond, on trample, constant.
Appearance:He's like an orc on a brown dog . the dogs about half the orcs size so its funny looking

STRUCTURES

Black Orc Fortress, or as I call it, the Black Orctress - Its just like the orc spawnhut from MR2 , you know what it does; except it can spawn black orc fighters in addition to black orc crossbow guys.

SPELLS

Morph Upgrade: Black Orc Fighter, Black Orc Crossbow Guy
Monster Summon Upgrade:- Black Orc Fighter

POTIONS

Potion of War (melee):- When Merlin gets this potion, all his morphed attacks (melee) will do more damage. Only when he's in morphed form of course.

AURAS
Aura of Peasants: When Merlin has this aura charged and everything, he will be lowered on the danger priority level of enemies. For examples: If there is a Black Orc Fighter on the screen, and a Green Orc Fighter on the screen, they are both hostile to Merlin, and hostile to each other. Normally they would attack whoever is closer to them and hostile, but in this case, they will not attack Merlin if there is someone else who is hostile to them on the screen. Note however they will only attack this other character if they are both hostile to Merlin and to the attacker. This is the way Merlin can make the hords die down before he gets attacked. This aura doesn't last very long though

Aura of Importance: This will do pretty much the opposite of Aura of Peasants; they will go for Merlin right away even if there is someone closer to them who is hostile. This is useful for making Merlin a distraction while weaker enemies will pick off the bigger ones. This aura doesnt last very long though

VEHICLES
War Tread: This vehicle is just a big square piece of wood with treads on it, and it rolls around carrying orcs into battle.

BOSSFIGHT!!!
The Bossfight for section 3 has two parts. The green orc part and the black orc part, as I call them. At first you're fighting a moderately tough green orc then just when youre about to waste him, then the big black axewielding thing from MR2 jumps in and finishes off the green orc guy , and Merlin has to finish him.

Green Orc Boss
Speed:
Attack:Club swing, melee, strong,Club Slam, melee, Instant Kill
Attack Rate:He swings his clubs every 1 seconds, Melee, strong, and every 8 seconds he slams his club into the ground, melee, VERY VERY INSTAKILL strong
Appearance: Giant Green Orc with a big club in each hand, he smashes them both down at once then takes several seconds to lift them back up cos theyre heavy; thats when you can hurt him.
Weight:Very heavy
Health:Like, Three times that of 3-headed dino from MR2
Special Abilities:When he slams his clubs into the ground and tries to lift them up , he will be able to be harmed.
Black Orc Boss
Exactly like the boss from the black orctress in MR2, 'cept hes more black in clothes and color.

EXTRA NOTES!!!!: In Section 4, all the black orcs also come in green orc variants! Heres a small chart thing of their alliances
Green Orc to Green Orc = Ally.
Green Orc to Merlin = Hostile.
Green Orc to Black Orc = Hostile
Black Orc to Black Orc = Ally.
Black Orc to Green Orc = Hostile.
Black Orc to Merlin = Hostile.

Also, the attack rate is WAY too slow on the most enemies in part 1-3. And there should be almost no potions since Werlin thought that there was no potions. No auras, the spells that Merlin can have are Energy blast, Monster summon and maybe morph.

Yeah I know that the enemies are too slow on attack rate... I was on a slow computer; and i was testing using enemy attack rates from MR and MR2 , and my computer was slow so it seemed different times... sorry version 5 will correct all this but it's gonna take me a much longer time ... like i said.. but the reasons there are potions is becos a delivery boy accidentally spilled some potions, spells, and stuff into the orb becos Werlin ordered them for himself, but the deliverer tripped and spilled them into the orb thing... sorry about not clearing that up... i know the attack rates are too slow, post some suggestions though and i'll almost definitely put them into ver5.

Whew! I just finished reading through all of it.

It's really, really good! There are a couple of things which seem like they might be difficult to do (the snow enemies that change their appearance as they get weaker, and the predator effect on the ninja, and the camera zoom) but given some thought, they might be possible.

Overall though, really excellent I think, the locations have got so much depth and character. I would probably make the areas quite a bit bigger though. Five different enemies can be configured in so many different ways that to make the areas only a few screens big would waste a lot of game playing potential.

Really good - well done!


PS Oh yeah, I went through spacing things out a bit better so it's easier to read now.

PPS Oh and also, Morsh, if you do part 5, just submit part 5 on it's own rather than adding it to this 'cos it's just too huge!!

Oh see, you want the characters to walk *behind* some of the scenery. I don't know. I like the fact that MR is very, very 2D. There's no walking behind or infront, everything's very symbolic rather than realistic. Huge liberties are taken with perspective (ground tiles are viewed from top down, rock and trees are viewed from above and slightly to the side, characters and buildings are viewed from the side). Introducing a foreground element may make the whole thing seem more realstic - which would be sort of bad.
