Morsh, I would suggest you just draw the robe and beard and leave the face blank. Or just put dots for eyes.

Or you could cut and paste the actual graphics, so that he's really tiny (just like in the game). Just suggestions though, or you could do a finger with a beard and say it's merlin.

I have a couple of plot ideas if you want them... in MR1, merlin describes the Scarlet Wizard as a "mental case" and warns that his outpost is "guarded by strange creatures". The implication is that they are the Scarlet Wizard's creations. At the end of MR2, we learn that Amotonlin the Red (AKA The Scarlet Wizard) and Verdanlin the Green were working on life creating experiments. Did these experiments lead to the creation of the Vulture Guards and the Evil Robot Baby? If so, how? What else did they make? These questions will be answered in the next edition of "Morsh's Amazing Merlin Comic"!!! Er, or not. Depending.

The other one was er, oooh I can't remember... getting old... er, something about the Scarlet Wizard's contact lenses... well, maybe it wasn't that good... well, good luck!

Morsh: You won't get sued for it!!! I don't really know what I was going on about with the second one just ignore it. I guess all I was saying is that if you are stuck for ideas, there are lots of things in the opening and ending sequences of MR1 and 2 which haven't been explained - you could take something that interests you as a starting point and then just run with it.

its really not up to me, steve, you can have as much or as little input on the comic as you want. for example: did you want it computer-done or hand-drawn like the bernie comics? cos i think it'd be better on computer since i cant draw, but then i'd only be able to work on it at home.

Well, it is up to you - I'm giving you er, wossname... creative freedom. You can do it however you think is best. You're the comic strip genius not I.

If you're not sure which way to do it, my advice is to try doing a little bit each way, you'll soon decide which is best.

Merlins walking through woods, saying 'oh im so tired' then he gets an idea and jumps on the back of a lizard warrior. merlin says 'merlin you sly dog you' then the lizards thinking 'WHAT THE HECK???' then merlin gets thrown off ... and stuff... now for page two. its more work than it sounds like , unless it sounds like a lot of work, then its the same amount of work that it sounds like lol, but either way for me its a lot of work.

a comment can go on forever, but I clip (or break) long sequences of characters so that it doesn't make the page too wide. Also, if someone cuts and pastes a word or phrase over and over again, I tend to clip that too, because it's annoying to look at.

Wow, long time since a new comment - anyway, i wanted to know how come the MR comics arent on TMB yet. I can't access Morsh's website cause it's restricted. You see, i have AOL on young teens, so a lot of stuff there is restricted.

Well, I still plan to add the comics to the site but right now I just felt that I had to give top priority to MR3. Once that's finished I will be undertaking a major redevelopment of the site at which point I will be looking to bring about the comics section amongst a lot of other things.

Just looking at the original suggestion again. I was looking at some old c64 games recently and thinking how fun it would be to do a really retro version of MR - like spectrum quality. A black screen and each sprite or background element would only have one colour.
