I've been tinkering with MR Open for a a few weeks, and have been having a bit of fun. My only problem my be due to a lack of programming experience, but I wanted to know if it were possible to edit a file or set of files to allow Merlin's health to be changed from standard to a much higher value. I want to make some insanely difficult maps with magic limits and give Merlin a sword allowing him to use blasts primarily as a way to stun enemies before closing in for the kill. The issue is I need him to be a bit more of a damage sponge so he can survive long enough to work through some more serious enemies. I may have missed it somewhere so I hope this isn't a repeat question. Thanks!

Only 2 years later, I have an answer for you :)
In the Merlin Open Director file, open the casts window and go to the data cast.
Scroll down and find act_player
double click to open this cast member
Scroll down until you find the line
#energy: 200,
Change the value to anything you like but don't remove the comma
