The Suggestion...
larger charge -> more Troops summoned at once.
There's a small issue where you'll quickly end up maxing out the number of friends you can have on screen.

The game could start with just having army summon, then at some point you can collect this spell instead.
Charge speed should still be indifferent of potions, like in normal Army summon, but it would charge quite a bit faster. Unsummoning would be impossible with the mass version, while the normal one could stay as is.
I think that the levels could be..
Level 1: 1 warrior
Level 2: 1 warrior, 1 archer
Level 3: 2 warriors, 1 archer
Level 4: 2 warriors, 2 archers
Level 5: 2 warriors, 2 archers, 1 monk
Level 6: 2 warrors, 2 archers, 1 monk, 1 dwarf
Level 7: 2 warriors, 2 archers, 2 monks, 2 dwarves
Level 8: 2 warriors, 2 archers, 2 monks, 2 dwarves, the king
And if the army limit is raised, I suppose that after level 8, it could be the sum of level 8 and one of the earlier levels. Say, level 14 would be level 8 + level 6, resulting in the combined forces of those two. Or something.
This is the way that I imagined that it would work. Of course, alternatives are available. Removing the possibility of unsummoning from the mass version is crucial, I think.

Or, maybe summon one of each and then add them again..
1: 1 warrior
2: 1 warrior, 1 archer
3: 1 warrior, 1 archer, 1 monk
4: 1 warrior, 1 archer, 1 monk, 1 dwarf
5: 2 warriors, 1 archer, 1 monk, 1 dwarf
6: 2 warriors, 2 archers, 1 monk, 1 dwarf
And so on.
This.. Might be simpler, might be more powerful, I don't know.
