You failed with the image link somehow.

I think it should be easy to animate.

Thank you Megaman4ever. Yes, it should be fairly easy to animate.

They shoot rocks? Nah...too boring. Let's make them shoot...goblins! I even whipped up a tiny little script.

G1: Goblin 1
G2: Goblin 2

G1: Fire the rocks!
G2: Ummm...well...we kind of...
G1: Spit it out!
G2: Spit what out? My mouth is empty, see? (Opens mouth)
G1: Ewwww...don't show me your disgusting teeth.
G2: Why do you care? Goblins don't care about hygiene.
G1: True. So what were we talking about again?
G2: Oo! Oo! Pick me! Pick me!
G1: There is no one here but you and me.
G2: Oh...right.
G1: Sigh...
G2: Ok, we were talking about a squid with one tentacle, holding a shovel, while wearing a diaper...with a pin.
G1:...what?
G2: Oh wait. Nevermind, that was my dream. Or was it?
G1: No one cares. Now I think we were talking about the catapult.
G2: Oh yes. It is wooden.
G1: Ugh. Not that.
G2: Oh wait. Ahem. We ran out of rocks.
G1: We...ran out of...rocks?
G2: Look, I know it sounds weird but...
G1: No no. I understand.
G2: You do? Oh. You do.
G1: We will have to go to desperate measures.
G2: Oh no. Don't tell me...
G1: Yes, we will have to use...ourselves!
G2: No!!!!! The pain, the agony!
G2: Well I guess I'll go first.
G1: Off you go then.

I can imagine goblins running up to a catapult and being thrown in random directions;)

There actually is a Magic card named Goblin Cannon(or something very similar). In effect, the same thing=P

The flavour text goes somewhat like this(it's an old card and I can't remember the thousands of Magic cards printed by heart, ok?):

Step 1: Find a cousin.
Step 2: Put the cousin into the cannon.
Step 3: Find another cousin.

Again, if I recall correctly, it did some damage if you sacrifice goblins=P

Ya. Shooting goblins would be funny...and painful. :)

Oh that would be cool. Especially if they get up to fight afterwards, even if they are already half dead.

This is the new stand. It looks more like a catapult now.

All animations for the catapult are in the works now. Will be done soon.

I should be fairly easy.

Also, make sure to add the goblin next to it, I think - unless you want a catapult shooting off by itself. I think that would be fine as well, but..

I think this is a chance to fiddle with incarnation - a catapult and goblin will have a broken catapult as a grave and incarnate as a goblin?

How about a "Goblin Cannon" to complement this, and it shoots goblins (as bullets, technically), and they stand up when they stop and then reincarnate into goblin warriors? :D Could projectiles reincarnate into enemies (or friends, for that matter)?

I don't think I'll add the goblin as I feel like I don't need to. Note or who ever can just add easily with no animation needed. Unless, I REALLY have to.

It would be easier if you did it while animating. That way, you can copy it through each frame, and not have to worry about making sure he shows up in the same place every time.

Of course, I'm happy to put him in after too.

Well thanks. I'll see what I can do once I actually start doing the animations. Also, I might make the colors on the catapult a little lighter, it seems very dark.

Sounds good! Tip for your shadowing, by the way: light infrequently hits something straight on in graphics. It is bet to presume that it's coming from some other direction. Thus you end up with the lighter colours on one side, and darker ones on the other. For example, you could look at the Merlin sprite: there's a splotches of lighter colours in the middle(going by memory here) and the back is darker(the hood and back of the cloak) this gives a bit more depth to the drawing.

On the warriors and archers and such, its coming from above and behind, if I remember correctly. Thus the shine on the helmets, and dark legs.
