The son of Mortillin himself. Despite being the main villain, he faces Merlin three times throughout the game, each time stronger than before.

First time: This battle is set in the present phase. He has approximately the same HP as Merlin, and similar abilities as well. He can even punch Merlin, although unlike his own punch it can stun him for a short time. Just remember how your abilities work and you should be fine?

Second time: This battle is set in the past phase. This time around he is riding a giant T-Rex. The monster can stomp you and bite you, both doing significant damage. Due to the dinosaur being enchanted by the Grey Wizard, it can also attack you with a variety of different breaths, each one having their own different effects. After it is defeated, the Grey Wizard will fight you himself. He is pretty much the same as before, but this time he has a new attack, he can open up a time portal and suck you in it. If you do get sucked in, expect major damage coming your way. Defeat him, and he will retreat into the future, but not before bringing the body of the Black Wizard with him. You better stop him fast!

Third time: The Grey Wizard is back and this time he's riding a giant spaceship. It will use a variety of different weapons, all of them state-of-the-art. Merlin will have to take caution when fighting him. Once you defeat him his spaceship will be destroyed, but it appears that your efforts were in vain, as he has finally gotten what he needs to revive his father. Kronollin revives his father using a strange potion, and the two merge together to create the ultimate wizard, the Pitch-Black Wizard!

Final battle: OK, I know I said we'd face him three times, but this fight takes place immediately after the third, so no healing or unsummoning your army for you, although the soldiers will be automatically returned to you. The Pitch-Black Wizard attacks you with your spells, and can also bombard you with powerful elemental attacks. It will be a very hard and long battle, but if you don't give up you will eventually beat him.
