2. Number of house and street (George Bannerman Road)
I like Counclington or Hilsfar. Although I think I've heard Hilsfar used in another game.
megaman4ever, addresses in England are usually written much the same as you outlined for Finland. I wrote it out as sort-of-directions because I'm guessing that that is how addresses might have started out.

I got a name "HILSFARRO"...actually its not the best but i kinda like it
I really just like Aldevar.
aldevar sounds nice.
Yeah but we don\'t want the council of the aldevar to come from aldevar or do we?
Ya lets just call the council, the wizard council and the town aldevar. It sounds nice.
I like the wizard council of Aldevar, from Aldevar.
Ok that could be an idea
I like the council(seriously, I AGAIN put the other c as 's'.. It's so frustrating - how come I can't spell correctly anymore??) of Aldevar, and the town of northampton.
Yeah, you were correct, Steve. Ten points.
It was from some really lame DnD game ages ago I think. It was more lame than pool of radiance, but then again pool of radiance was cool.
It was more lame than...
EVERYTHING. It's probably the lamest thing that you could call a 'commercially producted game'.

...ok, that's quite enough. Some weren't serious, as you can see.

What if they lived in a Wal*mart basement? I know, that's kinda weird/dumb, just popped into my head all the sudden.
P.S. Is Wal*mart in the UK?
P.S. Is Wal*mart in the UK?
Not exactly, but the bought one of the biggest UK chains. I think it was Tesco or ASDA.
Well scratch that idea then, it's just not as funny if you don't have a local Wal*mart.
wait a minute, which country do u live in Steve?
Make them collect model trains.
They need some sort of intellectual, money-wasting, and generally useless hobby.
Plus, it's symbolic. You're making their world, and they are making...an expensive model.

He lives in great britain.
Seriously i thought he lives in the states
I live in Ireland but I'm from England. For the record, Ireland has Tescos from the UK, Aldi and Lidl from Germany and home grown chains such as Dunnes, Superquinn and SuperValue.
Do u have a british accent
Seriously? That's like asking if a Jamaican has a Jamaican accent.
Actually, I'm glad you asked, it gives me an opportunity to get on my soap box.
*** gets on soap box and holds lapels of imaginary suit ***
To wit, I'd like to point out that there is no such thing as a British accent. What some Americans think of as a British accent is thought of within Britain as an English accent.
In order to have a properly British accent one would have to combine elements of English, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish. Not to mention Polish, Indian, Irish, African, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Turkish and all the other accents that British people have.
By referring to the English accent as the British accent these particular Americans risk hinting at an underlying belief that Britain = England. You can probably get away with this in England (aside from some scoffing) but for your own safety, don't say it on a dark night in the middle of Glasgow (Glasgow is in Scotland).
*** gets down off soap box and throws it out of the windows ***
So in answer to the question "Do I have an English accent?" The answer is yes. Along with a few Irishisms.

Wow...long explanation.Well atleast i have an answer
I think Wal*Mart owns ASDA.
And also you'd probably get murdered here in Wales. They're not as much into separating from England completely (too lazy) but they do vaguely hate English people.

Yes Bill Baily does a funny bit about the Welsh getting the assembly compared to the Scots.
But yes, the countries of the British Isles do hate the English more or less vaguely. I used to be quite disturbed by it but I've got used to it now.

Darren, why do you put a * in between wal and mart?Because doesn't it just say walmart?
To be honest crazy, I only put it there because Hobbes did earlier and it was all I had to base it off. Since I live in the UK I don't really know much about this "Wal-Mart" creature. (is it a special shop for buying, um, walls? hehehe)
Ah, good old Bill Bailey. He's a hero XD
Another thing I've heard that seems true as far as I know:
The Welsh hate the English
The Scots hate the English
The Irish hate the English
The English hate everybody
So why do we call it the "United" Kingdom? (also, we don't have a king...)

Crazy: Well what's how it was on all the signs for a really long time, they just changed it to one without the *, but I still use it because that was how it looked when I was growing up. See here it here...

ahhhhh ok im just used to the modern day logos
Wal-Mart is just a big grocery store, really.
Not just groceries though it has almost everything that's why tons of people go there
Walmart is known as Asda in the UK.
Oh no wonder you guys kept saying ASDA.I wondered what it meant but now i know.So is ASDA like part of the walmart company or is it like a british walmart but not part of the company?
Crazy: You ought to be used to the same one I was, if you're 21 you've been around since before it was.
I don't think this wal*mart or ASDA operates in Finland.
We have lidl though.
We have lidl though.
Well i don't go to walmart very often Hobbes
ASDA was a British super market which is now owned by Walmart.
Darren, it's more like this
The scots hate the English
the welsh hate the English
the irish hate the English
The English hate the French
See? We always hate the ones who are better than us. ;)

lol.but what does the best country hate?
Themselves, or they daisy chain back around to another country.
The country hate themselves so they all kill themselves so now the second best country i the best
I think it would be cool to have them team up and attack Merlin but i like them fighting the other team,it's amusing to watch them battle
It's more like just giving more options to the map maker - you could compare it with adding more enemies. Nobody will have to use them, but they will be there in case someone wants to.
@Immortal_merlin: I know about ASDA/Wal*Mart. I thikn I said as much earlier. It was just a lame joke.
@steve: I like that XD (although the indication of English superiority I think some of my properly welsh mates would dispute)
@steve: I like that XD (although the indication of English superiority I think some of my properly welsh mates would dispute)
@Darren So would my Irish friends, but now they have choices. Either carry on hating us and admit that we are better or admit that they are better and start feeling sorry for us.
Or admit that we are all about the same and not get all hung up on who killed who hundreds of years ago.
Or admit that we are all about the same and not get all hung up on who killed who hundreds of years ago.
I'm with the third option. Not that, as far as I know, there was any conflict between Wales and England. They just don't like the sheep thing XD
If you go back far enough there was conflict. The reason there are so many castles in Wales (more than any other area of Europe I believe) is because the English found the Welsh to be tough fighters and very difficult to control.
Why did the English invade? To impress the French. "they won't take us seriously if we can't even control our own island".
Anyway, I'm with you Darren, I prefer the third option.

Steve do you hate the french?
Fair enough, that makes sense. But I'd be rather surprised if anybody knows that happened around here. Half the people don't even like learning the language...
Wait, crazy, so if you've been around for years, why didn't you come to the suggeston DB earlier?
No I love the French. The have spread liberty, justice and good cooking around the world. They saved England from the Normans and America from the English.
And they scored a goal with their hand which put Ireland out of the world cup, which meant that for a few weeks, the Irish nearly hated someone else more that the English. :)

Megaman4ever,i did not know that there was a member place for merlins revenge because i played on different sites like bonus.com.
Darren,I speak fluent french
Darren,I speak fluent french
Ooh, that makes sense.
Yeah, actually I think you mentioned that earlier somewhere. Still saddens me that bonus doesn't exist, it actually had several fun games, not some goofy ones. Ok, it had goofy games too.
I prefer kong nowadays more though.

yA bonus was AWESOME!It was my favorite gaming site
@crazy, they don't like learning the WELSH language
oh welsh! Then i don't know how to speak that language
Don't they speak English in Wales?
Depends where you are. All Welsh people CAN speak English. Around here (south) most people can't speak welsh, although there is a welsh-speaking school nearby.
Up in North Wales everybody speaks welsh. Most schools speak welsh, or at least do some subjects in welsh.
They take this as an opportunity to look down on us southerners. Because we speak English, and, um, the land's "a bit flat". Living in a valley I don't see this XD
(also we have all of the cities...)
I guess this relates to steve's theory. They hate us 'cause...we have stuff :D

that's funny.Just because we have stuff.XD
Darren: LOL!!! You, Brits are a funny lot.
Well British v Americans in comedy...quite a tough one.
Well, the British were the ones who allowed a variety show which had a host as a stuffed frog. No American company would broadcast it- they thought it would never catch on.
Not saying anyone's necessarily funnier, but I think that at any rate the BBC is far more open to new and experimental ideas.

Well it's a tough battle but i don't get to see british comedy too much on tv or on any other appliance.
Well, that would be because it's mainly only on the BBC. What network do you have?
I get BBCA, which is simply BBC broadcasted in the States. When I watch TV (doesn't happen much), I like to check there first.
You what would be cool,a TV homepage.Like when you turn on your TV you are at your favorite channel automatically.
You can just press the channel you want to see with your remote though.. Unless you have different kind of remotes?
I dunno, I don't have a TV. Actually, when I say I don't have a TV, I mean that I can't receive any broadcasts.

Yes bt when you use the remote you waste almost 2 seconds of your time.
I turn my TV on with the remote.
Oh [whining of whiners], the world is going to end if I miss two seconds of this some program, am I rite?

Yes but a computer has a homepage and why?So they can get to a site quicker
It takes more button presses to type themetalbox.com than to press a single button on the remote.
Did you know that loading directly to that page takes less time that first 'loading' to about:blank.

It kinda seems like you guys want this roadmapped lol
Oh yes! Awesome!
I looked the comments and was like 'what how can you roadmap something related to TV homepages??' but then I realized we had gone 'quite' off-topic=P
But cool.
But cool.
Not to brag but...
this really wouldn't make the room much harder for me.
I am really good at the game. (Yet I was being modest there).
I am sure megaman4ever is also quite "teh awesome" himself no?

Yes. Yes I have.
Ummm...no. I will play it.
I thought myself that the 'Golden Castle' is the hardest, but it's been a while since I last played DiD.
Ooh... I should make new maps soon...
Ooh... I should make new maps soon...
Oh yeah, DiD was that map=P
Yeah, it's definitely not easy to beat, but it's been a while since I played..
It sorta reminds me of touhou - the games are really hard to beat without any continues, especially on the harder difficutlies.
But what do they say? 20% patience, 60% luck, and over 9000% of unbelievable skillz?

Yes. It is very hard.
Okay. I have go t a basic version of this. It could be upgraded later for some more functionality but, currently, when you put a tam overide tile down on a room, any team that hates #aldevar (with priority) will only look for members of #aldevar, #monsterSummon, and #village.
Ok. Cool.
Oh yeah, since only after aldevar is dead they will attack each other, but obviously if Merlin dies the game ends.
Wait. Is it unfinished because of the goblin problem?
Goblin problem?
This is nolonger done because I'm going to change it to use teams instead!
So if someone to make their own team override object, they could write in a team in the override's data, and everybody would join that team, so to speak. (They wouldn't really join it, just target as if they were)
Using the existing teams would not work especially well, so it would be advised to make a new team for each team override object. The current team that everybody will join is #blackSorceror, who happens to be the team that only targets merlin and his allies.
I'm debating whether or not to give the team override target teams, which would be an identifier for which teams change.

Yes I see the issue - it would be easier to make a block that causes all teams that are not the aldevar to target the aldevar.
Ok, what about this - there is a different block for each of the major teams.
Placing a block on a screen causes all other teams to 'gang up' on that team. The team that each block affects would be set in it's data file. (You would make a new parameter)
Just an idea - I don't know if that fits with what you've already done.

This is all withing team master.
I was thinking that if the team override block is in place, and if the team is one of the override's target teams, it would do its calculations as if it were part of the override's replacement team.
So, if there is an override that affects #goblins and #undead, and was on team #replacementTeam, then if in a goblin warrior were to run findTarget(), it would look through to see if its a #goblin or an #undead, then run calcTargetTeamsByAllegiance() as if he was actually on #replacementTeam.
I like your idea; its a lot easier on the computer, albeit without as many bells and whistles. I think I'll go with yours for now, and if there ever comes a time, when there is an excess of available processing power, I'll switch it over.(crossing my fingers for that one)
