I don't think anybody should have the ability to DELETE a comment or suggestion.
ranks would be fine but deleting user comments without an admin even having a look to see if the comment was out of line doesn't sound like a good idea to me
anways its just an i dea its not like steve would agreee to this at least not until mr4 is done
mabye it can be used just to delete your own comment
I don't want to let people delete their comments. If people have replied to your deleted comment it makes them look insane.
Plus, if people can't delete their comments then maybe people will think about what people are saying before people submit them, eh? :)

I agree with Steve, if you can't take back something you say you'll be far more careful about what you say or suffer the consequences of saying things that you might not should have.

When you submit, it says the message will be approved unless it's rude or something.

Not often, but it does happen.
Same even when I'm the one validating them, the only exceptions were extremely obscene comments/spam... Others containing the occasional swearing/accidental slip of the tounge get manually filtered by me. (I just replace the said phrase/word with *censored*, or nowadays... *meep*)

There are 3 people who can approve comments on the suggestions database: Steve, Lokey and Roxblaster (correct me if I'm wrong) so Steve presumably hasn't seen this message.

Well, I've been around since the first Merlin's Revenge. However, I didn't become a member until waaaay later. I know a lot, but I think that I wasn't here THAT long, considering MR 2 came out like a week after I discovered this place.
