The Suggestion...
You can walk really quicky on the ground, cause it's covered with ice, but other places, you walk slowy, because there's a thick layer of snow to walk through This leaves options for some snowy creatures other people could suggest, like yeti, or evil snowmen or something.

Could Merlin slide around uncontrollably on the ice?
If it was MR2, then yes. However, I haven't introduced the feature of the ground affecting Merlin's movement to the MR3 engine yet as it runs too slowly as it is.
To put it another way, I would rather have more enemies on screen than this. But if other people feel different let me know!

Besides, when it runs slow I think like this:
"If there is too much happening on the screen, the game will thoughtfully slow down so that you can see what's going on. Also, if you are firing energy pulse, the game will go into 'Matrix Mode' for extra drama."

Kewl, maybe you can make parts of the ice be water instead, but since its so cold u lose 5hp by going on it.

the ice blast that has ben sugested so much could freeze the water so you can walk on it without getting hurt.or merlin would need snow shoes otherwise he loses 2hp when he walks on snow cuz its cold or when its thick snow it world be 10hp loss cuz you sink in it.
Hmmmm, ya ur prob. rite cuz wen i go in the snow, my feet even hurt just because of the water that gets into the boots. Not to mention if you get frostbite.

OK... I guess when your older you have breathing problems. *cough* uh-oh. Lol Kiddin im only 13. I don't think merlins gunna have asthma dude. Maybe if he was in an empty room that was in "winterland" he could kind-of rub his hands together, and u could see his breath. hmmm.

Winterland sounds like a good idea. I just had to make a map for it. The stuff in the top center is supposed to be thick snow.

yo how about u add a water type level to the game to like u can fish enemies and stuf i think it would be cool
