The Suggestion...
because the other wizards aren't used to rampaging through lands and destroying everything they see, they must take frequent breaks. you have to beat a couple more screens untill you can use them again. better wizards take longer to recover
This will present cool strategy like:
"Ulin just recovered, should i use him now, or should i save him for the screen i couldn't get over there?"
and also, the harder wizards should be found farther on in the map

It's a new mechanic, but not a complicated one. It could be good, but I'd like to get some more comments before committing to it.
I like it. It would make people to mix up their strategy a little. Adds a little bit of planning in the game too.
Interesting, a lot of potential. Army summon could use this too.
Luv it. Put it on the roadmap.
This makes MR more strategic.

Erm, oops? Did I mess up my closing that tag?
Isn't Merlin the Blue Wizard?
Yeah, the closing tag was messed up; the '/' was after the 'i'. I should have spotted it though.
so what happened to adding this onto the roadmap...its sounds like a cool idea makes the game more harder becuas enow u have to plan it out instead of going straight and blasting enemies.
I had to decide what to add to the roadmap. If I added everything that I thought was a good idea I'd never be done. Anyway, the MR4 roadmap is a kind of out of date now. I'm working on making MR Open easier to work on and from that MR4 will evolve.
See, MR4 is only a map. MRopen is something anyone can make hundreds of maps with.
You probably see why MRopen should be developed more.

Well yeah, it's a map and a couple of cutscenes.
I figure that at some point, we'll decide there's enough new stuff in MR Open compared to MR3.
Then we wrap it all up in a nice big map with some humorous cutscenes and release it as MR4.
Then we keep adding stuff to MR Open until there is enough stuff to make MR5 etc etc.

wait so whatever is in the roadmap will be in the game
Not necessarily at this point, but its much more likely.
The community has shown that they like some suggestions alot, and so those suggestions get into the roadmap. Time is a limited resource, though, so it seems probable that not everything there gets done.
Steve, whenever MR4 does happen, will it follow the plotline you set out in those suggestions a while ago?
I would say... probably.
What I would like to do at some point is give everyone the ability to say that they are working on something.
Something like a roadmap for each member.

I'd somewhat like to have a roadmap. Keep the ailing memory from keeping me down.
So Steve,ur going to give us all jobs.If ur planning to do so...i call shotgun on creating ideas or something like that
No no! I don't think that's exactly what he meant...
It would be cool...
I'm not going to give you jobs exactly, I'm going to give you the opportunity to give yourselves jobs.
... which is happening already, it's just not formalized and I worry that the people doing the work aren't getting enough credit.
Also it would be a way to say "I'm doing this!" so other people know to do something else.

Your wrong. Shigesato Itoi created the Giant Pencil idea. Learn thy Earthbound!
Lol, everyone contributes ideas on this site. There is no position for "idea-man". I would imagine in the credits, there would be something like-
Magical TuTu
Concept by: Mr. Nezzer
Produced by: Willy Wonka
Or just-
Created by: The Happy Elephant of Perpetual Joy
-In a single designer situation.
See?

Roxblaster has a good grasp of what I'm getting at, and the idea is that if the system knows what everyone did then everyone can get credit for exactly what they did do.
Yeah.. A personal roadmap could be cool...
Umm, we all have pencils and paper, though?

Yes Megaman4ever, personal roadmaps would be cool. I just wonder when it will be added. Lol.
I still love this idea. I would program this in by myself but I kind of need instructions...but not complicated instructions. I will put this in my roadmap anyways.

As Steve said, "It is a new mechanic". Hopefully Note could help me or Steve...or Super_merlin?
This is actually part of the last thing I was working on, but kinda got bottle-necked on was how to lay things out. The first things that you will want to do is read and figure out what I did in the wizardMaster, obj_displayWizards and modSummonWizard.(Names may not be exactly correct) Then, you will want to figure out where in obj_room that it opens the doors, this is where you will go though the list and change the counters with various wizards(if they are in a state of needing rest) The other place that you will be changing/checking those(or similar, all of which you would need to add) counter(s) (but only one at a time) is in the modSummonWizard, when a wizard has been successfully summoned. I could see this taking me around 20min. It would be pretty good oop practice for you if you so choose, though.
Ugh. Nevermind, I will leave it to you Note. If it is finished could you show me what you did?
