Merlin enters screen which had been signposted as the Black Sorceror's location. The king is sitting at his desk, working hard.
Merlin: Hey, you're that king, yea?
King: Yes, but now I'm just the BS's secretary - he let me out if I did this for him.
Merlin: Right. Well, where is he?
King: He's extremely busy right now, but your call is important to use. Please hold.
*gets out keyboard and starts playing + singing*
After a moment
Merlin: How long do I have to wait.
King: There are - 4 - people ahead of you. Doobah-dah-doo, lay offa my blue suede armor
etc

ooooh i just thought that he could give you the summon spell but say only two of his men will be available at a time giving an in-game excuse to reduce the army size(and the ghost could be the health one)

Not sure that I want him to become part of your army, but I guess he could appear on a couple of screens to help you out or something.

I can't imagine him bothering to fight, really.

I think I'd like to allow him to drop in to say hi every once and awhile, but he's the kind of guy you wouldn't want around you all the time, because you know he'd end up making a bad jo...

Maybe he could blast the guys waiting in line before him and then blast the secutary king until he says he can go through.

Maybe he can just follow Merlin around and be like a song thing?
*he's on every screen and if you press a certain key a menu comes from him, you choose a song and he starts to play!*

Anyway, just a vague idea on how you might meet him:
On some screen somewhere in the game, you find a few soldier graves, loads of enemy graves and a cell-thing like the king was in before, but with a wall missing. And all around the cell, in the middle of the screen, is the king and loads of soldiers, fighting off a group of enemies. When they all dead, the King thanks you for helping him escape cos they were losing so joins his army cos he's in Merlin's debt.
Just an idea.

What role is he going to play? Just a Super Soldier?

This would mean more programming but it would make sense if certain soldiers and monks stick close to him as a sort of Royal Guard.

i don't think the king should join you as an army man. he should work him self maybe you find him, help him they talk, and he runs off to kill the BS

That's a good idea,but what would be AWESOME is if he played his piano thing and threw knives,and he would play a different song every time depending on where you use him! :D

the king is kinda lazy....maby he will just stand there and yell stuff to his men wen they attack.make them have better moral or sumthing. incresing the guys lv by 5 or so.

I think that you could play as the King in some sort of Co-op mode! I'm making a suggestion right now!

No computer I know of uses 2 mice at the same time. To have co-op play you would need to have keys assigned for actions on the keyboard.

actually sketch i have technically used two mice at the same time on a computer, however they both controled the same cursor so they fought each other. Mine won.

as for the king, i had a combo thought. If we do add that drop golden objects spell and one of them is a piano maybe the king could play it when it falls.

Question: how did the king get involved with pianos in the first place?

ooh mayby he can turn out to be giving orders to the black sorceror secretly and his real plan was to turn the whole order of wizards evil so he could use them to take over the world!

is it posible for you to make a MR multiplayer verson? like where you have 2 computers playing the samegame at once...like world of warcraft for example. just a thought but if you made it a multiplayer game it would mean you have to make some major changes so its not very likely

Well, the king has a cloning machine, and he thought it'd be good to have spare copies of himself to go out and fight, so he could eat peanuts while watching old James Bond movies and rule his kingdom at the same time.

That does sound like him.

Maybe it could be a spell, where king has different weps with each spell... like the army summon... only cooler... Imma suggest now :D
