That would be neat but would mean more graphic work for Steve with walking nimations and whatnot.
By the way I wonder how long it takes Steve to make the graphics and turn them into an animation.
Because I can do graphic that look like merlin's graphics along with the series required to make an animation.

My experience with sprite making is that it is really tedious, but once you've got one, it's not usually as hard to make all the 'stills' needed for animating them. But then again, most stuff I make looks pretty awful.

Well, I think that once he got the addition drawn once, it'd be a lot of copy and pasting with only minor editing on each frame, but I'm no expert, or even a novice.

Yes it would be much easier to make it than the origanal walk animation but it would probly look kinda bad if you didn't put much time into it.

Well, I think that you could put about one day on all the weapons if you really worked, and there weren't like 2000 weapons, lol. I guess it depends how many weapons there will be, if any.

I think weapons are an interesting concept but I don't see it being worth all the trouble to make every unit with hands using every single weapon.
Now if you collected "souls" (snicker) that gave powers and stats it would be cool. Like a Warrior with the Soul of Black Orc might get a big bonus to Strength and Hit points, while a Soul of Dragon might let you shoot flame and increase your speed. And maybe each unit could use 1 soul.

p.s. Or maybe I just want to go around collecting souls on principle...

No no, what I meant was, ONLY Merlin would be able to equip different weapons. Not every unit with hands.

Oh well in that case yes it could be done without a huge amount of work. And I would really like to use the Orc rapid crossbow.

I've heard 'quiver' more often then 'sheath'.

And I think this is a great idea. It would help you know what you had out. How about some kind of staff for normal magic spells?

Maybe he should summon the wepons.
even if he didnt summon it though, u wouldnt be able to see the scabbard/sheath cause its on the front of his belt, and it would be to hard to see.
