level editor

The sweetest add on, others will probably agree, will have to be a shockwave level editor, like grab and drop. There could be a main screen that lets you choose the size of your map, then tile editor that lets you put the ground, rocks, trees and other things included in the background. Then menus allowing you to choose enemies, powerups, or people to talk too. If enemies is chosen, and you choose a particular enemy, you can edit its properties, like how many goblins come out of a hut or how much damage they do or their speed. If people are selected, you can choose a sprie and what the conversation says. If you select potions, you can decide its strenght in units. Like one unit is one potion in the real game, etc. That is my suggestion, I don't know if its possible or how many lines of code it requires (I don't know how to create shockwave) so don't blame me if it sounds like I want to establish a city on the moon in the next two years. If possible, good;if not, thats OK, your the pro, themetalbox.

NEW! steve
I'm already planning to do all this - it's just going to take a long time. Probably about two years. But if I think it'll take two years it'll probably actually take four. But if I allow four years, it'll take eight. That's why I'm aiming for two years.
