I couldn't get this to happen for me when I tried it. There is a similar bug to do with releasing the blast just as you change screens... perhaps that was what happened?

That was very well spotted! As you can see from my earlier comments, I couldn't even spot that until I had fixed the other bug.

This has been fixed in demo 0.05a.
