Intimidate

You cast it on yourself and you get 1.5 times bigger. It doesn't effect stats, but considerably weaker enemies will avoid you, so you can concentrate on the harder enemies. Remember, being larger means you are easier to hit as well.

I like this! Don't know if I'd be able to implement it, but it's a nice idea.

sounds really neat. It would be fun to scare away goblins with your enormous girth.

yes but i think that you should also get slower when you use imidate. (0.2 px/frame slower)

I don't like this much... the weaker enemies should be easy to wipe out anyway so what's the point?

The point is that you can concentrate on the larger enemies.

Say you are fighting a Flamethrower dragon, 2 necromancers, 2 grey ghosts, and that big axe dude in MR2. Also there are..hmm...say, 9 huts for goblins. The goblins would just get annoying.....

Oh by the way, don't make him that slow when he's big, otherwise he's big and slow and gonna be dead.

But slow him a little.

little enemies are easy to kill, so y get big? wen u shoot at a large enemy, the other enemies are attacking u 2, and u cant just dodge it because youre so big.

hmm... yes and his robes could rip off and he could be buff and manly ... then the robes come back when he shrinks back down.

I will totally draw a buff merlin for this I can think of how to work it. Maybe have "considerably weaker" enemies depend of level and energy?

Looks like Merlin's gonna take a little trip to the gym.

I think this should rather be reversed - make merlin smaller and have strong enemies not choose him as a target so often.

Then you would have easier time beating hard enemies(when they kill the weak ones) and also be able to dodge better.

that could be an option

Gnorthan also intends to make a sprite.

it would be easy since it's just an enlarged Merlin

It's more than just that, Crazy. If you just stretch the image, it will be rather "pixely". Plus, the border would be huge.

How about just make a shrinking spell? It makes much more sense to me.

I mean, those weaklings... I'll just run around dodging the big guys and blast them of in seconds. I don't really get the real point of this spell I guess.

All the characters get gradually bigger as they powerup. I could never decide whether to have it on or off. In the end I decided to leave it on but subtley.

I never really liked the big merlin as u level up.I just like merlin small...its hard to explain.:s

I like the size increase, but I wish the blockiness could be avoided.

What do u mean by "blockiness"?

NEW! megaman4ever
Yeah, same with me, Steve.

You see, when he gets to lvl 80+, the size is qutie big. You will see that single pixels will look quite much bigger. It's blocky.

If I had merlin bigger, I'd rather have more details than just take the old ones take more space.

Catch the idea?

Yeah that would be ideal but it would mean someone has to draw every character at every size.
