If I recall that bug was around for a while now. Thanks for pointing it out still! But please use the bug report system if its still active rather than comments for bugs.

Thanks. My email is already up there. It's really a great series of games you're making here. :) My friends and I love this game.

Hey, first off, I love the games here. However, for ALL of the merlin games, which is all I play, unless I get lucky, I can't play for more than two minutes without it freezing it up and I need to start over. Is this a problem on your end or mine, and if mine, what should I do to prevent this? My flashplayer and shockwave stuff is all the most recent stuff. let me know, thanks

I believe this is a problem on your end, as the rest of us are able to play it just fine. Try reinstalling Flash and Shockwave? (Sorry best answer I can give with my limited knowledge of programming >_<)

You should be able to summon your entire army at once and set tasks for each unit. Ex: sword solider guard other solider or charge enemies.
lokey57 replied,
Eh...I think this should be in the suggestion database but eh whatever. Well that is a nice idea, however from a gamer's perspective here's my problems with the idea.
1.Overly complicated, not to mention it would make the game a bit too easy if you just hopped on a screen, clicked one button and summoned everything, then hid while your army does all the work.
2.The AI is rather stupid so I don't know what would happen if you did that.
Now for possible problems (after we find a programmer to take over)
Overly complicated, you would have to design multiple AI personalities, a way to summon all of them without lagging everyone to death, and implement a command system. Too much work imo.
Thanks for the idea though!

How come in merlin 3 theres only 8 soldiers? i wish there were ten on your side. (i know a late question isn't it?)
Steve replied,
I had to balance the number of soldiers against the number of enemies and the speed the game ran. Originally I wanted 16 soldiers and 64 enemies, but the game ran too slowly.

How do you use army, as it does not seem to work for me, nor will Berlin summon.
Steve replied,
- Collect the army summon spell
- fire blank blasts at friendly units (archer, warrior, monk, dwarf)
- charge army summon until icon shows desired unit
- fire it at an open part of the map (ie, not a tree or boulder) to summon the unit.
- to bring the unit with you or save him from dying, fire a blank blast at him.
To summon Berlin press 'f'. To unsummon, press 'f' again, or fire a blank army summon spell at him. Obviously, you have to find him first though.

Hey mr3 is fun but you should have used the big map you used for the betas. Could you possibly put that online again I want to play it again. For the army summon thing my troops keep getting killed before I have a chance to summon my entire army, it would be awsome if you could summon your entire army in one go. Anyway, see ya.
Steve replied,
I couldn't properly play-test that map and it sucked a bit toward the end.
But yeah, I'll try to put up a page with it on in case people do want to play it. It will probably take me a while to get around to it though.

I'm sure these have been asked dozens of times before, but I'd like to know the answers.
1. If you charge a spell on one screen, going to a chargeminus screen does not affect it, thus we can have one full-size spell on e any screen. Is this a bug, a feature, or something else?
2. Energy blast loses its ability to damage but retains its stun potential on the 1% levels. While useful, if you get a static buzz from a car door or similar, do you get stunned for a few seconds?
3. You can have a few energy pulse spells at once on all non-1% maps. On the 1% maps, you can have effectively one energy pulse spell active at once. This is at most a 75% reduction, not a 99% reduction. Sure, it is incredibly useful (even eliminating the need for blokes with swords), but why is it there?
Steve replied,
1. Since the spell was charged on the other screen it can be full size. It does not need magic from the chargeminus screen to maintain it. It only draws magic when it is being charged, so it is perfectly logical that you can bring in bigger blasts.
2. The Energy blast still does a tiny amount of damage.
3. The energy Pulse spell outputs energy pulses until it is drained. At 1% of it's max size there it is still big enough for 1 pulse. Perfectly logical. The 99% reduction is in the maximum size of the spell, not it's effectiveness.
